I find so many times with knitting that sometimes the impossible turns manageable if you just set it down and come back in a different frame of mind. Looks like you got the incentive you needed to push ahead! I think this is going to be great…love the color choice!

I think that lace pattern is very fast, and it stretches a LOT (both the garter and the lace- to the point that I accidentally felted mine and it still fit). Go girl! It is a gorgeous color. Perfect for spring.

I ended up taking that one off the needles a couple times to make sure about the fit and made all sorts of ‘creative choices’(mostly because I messed up here and there and needed solutions that didn’t include miles of frogging) and…I love to wear it. So satisfying! You’ll be a lovely springtime breath of fresh air in your sweater!

I’m feeling fortunate that my cats usually ignore yarn. Charlie, however, will take a ball of yarn and go snuggle it on the floor in my room. Last time it was cashmere. Luckily, he doesn’t chew it.

Looking good! I hate hitting snags, but it happens often to me. I’m finally at a point where ripping out doesn’t bother me, unless it’s lace, then I’m screwed. I have to be careful with my knitting too – Ruby LOVES to play with yarn. I swear, that dog is part cat. She climbs. I found her on the dining table the other day. All my yarn now resides on top of an armoire. If she gets up there, then I’m REALLY in trouble.
