Prickly Pear Bloom

I attended the local Addy awards last Saturday at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, and I won 2 silver Addys, for the Public Service Announcement, and for the DVD cover series that I entered! It was a fabulous time, and educational, seeing all of the professional work that won awards, and being exposed to who the ad agencies are in town that are doing good work. I am going to have the pieces forwarded to the district Addy competition, which includes all of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

DVD Cover series for Criterion Collection, 3 Robert Altman Films, The Company, Gosford Park, and McCabe & Mrs. Miller

I sent our wedding invitations to press last week, and I am so excited to get them back all done and pretty. Then we will have a bunch of work ahead of us assembling them and getting them out in time. It is my first project on press, and I am learning alot from it, but my sales rep at Park Printing said that I am very organized and the most confident bride she has worked with. I don’t feel confident, but it is good that I project that to her.
